We are pleased to offer you a historically accurate reproduction 18th century silk powder puff, as created using period imagery and the works of such individuals as Diderot. This item is painstakingly recreated using the finest imported silk thread.
This powder puff would have been used for the application of hair powder to a man or woman's hair, both their own hair and to a wig that they might be wearing on the day and may be used with any assortment of period hair powders. The silk and feather powder puffs offered, both provide a very different result when used to apply powder, so you might prefer one, or the other, or our own recommendation would be to purchase both, as to ensure adequate application of the powder. This item is made to order and will be ready in less than one to two weeks (usually sooner) from the order date.
