One of our most unique and historically significant works, "Daemonologie" as written by King James I Scotland and IV of England and Ireland, served as the basis for the witch trials of the late 16th to early 18th centuries, across not only the English speaking world, but within the Dutch, Germanic and Western European nations of the era. Discussing matters such as how to identify witches, demons and warlocks, as well as how to prosecute (and persecute) these individuals, this text was instrumental in trials such as that of Salem.

Not to be taken lightly, this text is a significant piece of literature for the sake of its historical value, while also providing insight into the practices and beliefs of the people of the era when it came to the occult. From a historical, occult and pure curiosity aspect, this work is a "must have" for any collection.

This item is made to order and will be ready in less than one to two weeks (usually sooner) from the order date.
