Originally published in 1783, this text entitled "A Select Collection of English Songs - Drinking Songs", is a great historical text on the subject of tavern music. Including numerous songs that were intended as drinking songs, many of them specifically on the subject of "drinking", this is a rather humorous work and a great piece to add to the collection of any historian, music lover or reenactor. This is a rather extensive book, being nearly seventy pages long and full of unique and obscure music from the period!
