I am quite excited to offer "Abdeker or, the Art of Preserving Beauty" as it is an excellent book which discusses many aspects of beauty products in the 18th century. It claims to be translated from an Arabic text, but that was most likely made up to sell more books. It is a story that has many aspects of beauty within it as well as recipes. It would be great to add this to your collection of period beauty books.
