While we are pleased to offer you this text, we must do so with a warning... Entitled "Compendium Rarissimum", this is a complete reproduction of a 18th century text not discussing the occult, but of the occult itself. This is a "demonology" text, or a book specifically on the practice of summoning demons and of witchcraft. While this book may seem as it is meant to be comedic, this is in fact a text from the period which was intended for this purpose, either by a mad individual, or a firm believer. This book is rather similar to that of the fictional work "Ninth Gate", with a series of demonic images linking the reader to an unknown text with an unknown origin and purpose. This text is rather detailed and contains many, quite a large number of colour images from the text, on period paper.

We have done our best to restore the images within this work to as close to their original appearance, as possible. This text is extremely graphic and not intend for children, its imagery is exceptionally disturbing, as is its written content, with numerous hidden messages that we have uncovered. Though we recommend this work, we also must warn you, who knows what may come with it upon opening and reading its text out loud.

This item is made to order and will be ready in less than one to two weeks (usually sooner) from the order date.

This wonderfully reproduced book comes to you on period laid linen paper, hand bound with linen thread, suitable for collectors, historians and those with a passion for classic literature and antique books. As with all books of this nature, we must note that there are numerous imperfections, as noted below, reflecting the character of the original printing. Please note that all documents and source material are free of copyright claims and are strictly based on such material. All documents may suffer from blemishes, textual issues, pictorial degradation and associated imagery issues as may be the case, as the documents are exact reproductions of the original source material and accordingly, contain all original blemishes and imperfections, both as a matter of necessity and in some cases, to preserve the original appearance and nature of the documents as they would have been produced and sold. We hold no claim over exclusive intellectual property rights over the associated material, herein and rely upon the Berne Convention and associated international agreements for free use of said material. Further, please note that certain images may have the addition of a border, or areas that include a background, as the original images may be too degraded to remove this effect and must be reproduced with such appearances as to permit the preservation and distribution of these valuable and historic texts. All document are sold as is and are produced on a per order basis; each work is a custom piece and reproduced by hand and using period materials as closes as possible to the original materials used in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. All items may be subject to a delay and currently each item will require one to two weeks to produce and ship from our workshop.
